Glares

by Layla   Nov 25, 2006

Every time you look at me, you wish I wasn't there,

And all the wishes in the world doesn't change your lack of care.

I'm merely your companion
A leech, a lving burden.

So why do you take things out on me
When it's not even my fault?

To truth you turn a blind eye when you're sure I'm only lying,

You act like you don't care when you can see I'm close to crying.

My sanctuary is sacred- my room harbors my cries,

My room is where I hide from the whole world's prying eyes.

You say that you love me when I'm sure that's not the fact,

But tomorrow, I'll forgive you and the friendship'll be back.
