The mountains you will move

by Millions   Sep 23, 2006

Baby, you'll move mountains
You'll change the way the earth was built
Discover things we never knew
And do everything i won't.

The world will change around you
It will blossom as you grow
You, my baby girl
You'll change everything we know.

The world inside your tiny fingers
You'll break the problems, we tried so hard to fight
Your blooming wings a symbol
To those in need of light.

It doesn't have to be those third world countries
With problems so immense
It's the strangers on the street you help
By giving 50 cents.

You'll understand life is up and down
It can't always be just right
Baby, you'll cry & you'll mourn & sigh
But after that, you'll realize it's life.

An icon of beauty
From without and within
You'll be beautiful my darling
My baby, my kin.

You'll move mountains i tell you
Mountains impossibly high
You'll build hope from the wreckage
And dreams in the sky.

Everyone will know your name
As the little girl who cared
The one, whose mama raised her right
The strong, the brave - unscared.

They'll tell me you moved mountains
Made from poverty and fear
I'll smile & say, that\'s my baby
I'll shout it so the whole world hears.
