You stand beside me
Crying in the rain
My tears you see

You see my pain
And help me through
You understand me
Not many do

If I feel down
I know you'll be there
If my heart is broken
I know you'll care

If I need an answer
I'll come to you
If I have any doubts
You'll know what to do

You see your my best friend
And always will be
This is just the beginning
Of you and me
