Behind the Mask

You see me everyday
But do you really see me?
Or do you see the mask
I wear to hide the pain?
To hide the paing of knowing
That you really don't care
About me
Knowing that everytime
You say "I love you"
You don't mean it
Knowing when you hold me
You're actually far away
I wear the mask because
I'm still hoping you will
One day come to really
Mean those three words
"I love you"
Because for some reason
I still do
