Alone she sits

Alone she sits
playing sad songs
waiting for her pain to ease

no tears does she cry
nor does she yell and scream
she just sits there alone

carrying her own burdens
not to mention those of the ppl she loves
seeing them happy makes her truly appreciate happiness
as she sits there she appreciates their joy of life

as time comes to pass
the weight of the problems she face become too much
until scars start to appear on her body and she starts to lose weight

she still remains indifferent to life
but those that love her finally start to care
slowly realizing what is happening
they come to appreciate her

but they know nothing of what she is going through
as she isn't revealing her secrets

no more enchanting smile
nor infectious laugh
just a face that hides the truth

then along he comes wanting to help her in the beginning
causing her nothing but more pain in the end

now she sits alone
listening to sad songs
re-living days of friendship and happiness
living through pain and her broken heart
waiting for the pain to stop
but finding every step brings her more pain than before
