My Journey Solo

I'm standing amongst my broken past and all my shattered dreams
Wondering which path to take when both are untraveled it seems.
I'm caught between the past and the presant wondering which way to go,
stuck between the life I have and the part of me I might never know.
Who I was and who I am are two separate parts of my life,
But then again I remember when the pain of unknowing cut like a knife.
To make this journey is my choice of which I must make alone
my only guide is my inner voice
to finally take me home.
