Little Town U.S.A.(Lyrical)

by Chris Rodriguez   Sep 29, 2006

This poem is not based on my life or my feelings. It is just a reflection on all the people I knew and things that I see wrong with todays youth.

Walking around with a loaded gun aimed right at my head
The bullets gonna go down further into my skin, my soul
"Hey pretty girl which you like to go out with me...please."
"No I'd rather stay with my big idiot boy instead.
He hits me all the time but I will stay with him until I'm dead.
Or that's what he said."

Chorus:
The common blinded people
Running around all day
Who cares that I'm pregnant?
Who cares that I killed her?
We all go down in the end

I play with guns and knives all the time
The problem is I can't play all day, because I died
Sometimes I just go crazy and cut myself...it helps
There was a girl who said she loved me
But she screwed with me and really wanted my friend instead
Think I'll go down there and take them all with me
To hell you see

Chorus:
The common blinded people
Running around all day
Who cares that she needs help?
Who cares that he's screwed up?
We all go down in the end

Oh, little town U.S.A. the time has come to see
You're not what you seem
The children cry, and the old weep
Until they wander around and sleep
Six feet underground

Music and love can save us
