The love of the wind

by Letty   Sep 30, 2006

I listen carefully when the wind blows as it whispers soft-spoken words of love.

The words strongly pull and tug at my aching heart until they gain my response.

The wind then lightly brushes its loving touch against my face. I momentarily become lost in its sweet caress as the heartache begins to fade.

It then loudly hums to create a song that I know was made for me alone.

I then melt in its arms because of the lyrics, of the song, until the heartache is completely gone.

    Hey Letty--

The imagery on this poem was beautiful, as I'm sure many people have already mentionned. I wish I was able to give you some constructive criticism, as you have helped me so much, but there really isn't a single thing in this poem that I would change. You're talented, and very creative.
