Thank you Lord.

I was living in darkness
Until you Jesus your Highness
Decided it was time
For me to shine
I've always been told the good news
But on that night I had the blues
I prayed desperately
Confessing my misery
I was despaired
And afraid
But from the moment on
When Satan was gone
Kicked out of me when I accepted you my King
As my Savior and everlasting
Lord my God
Whom from now on I'm learning to love.

I was lost
But you Jesus bought me with the highest cost
Lord I thank you so much
For such
Love that you have for mankind
It's just too much for my mind
Why did you go through all this pain
For what almost seems in vain
Most of us keep on rejecting you
While very few believe in you
We are not worthy
Of what you endured for us to be
Saved
Why did your blood have to be shed
I owe you everything
And yet I'm the one receiving
So many blessings
And new feelings
Of love and care for others
As if they were my brothers
It's incredible
What you were able
To do in my life
You put an end to my interior's strives.

I feel peaceful
Cause no matter what you remain faithful
Even when I was your enemy
You still loved me so deeply
How blessed we are
That you are
So merciful
And forgiveful
You could have wiped us clean from this earth
But instead you chose to give birth
To your son Jesus
To save us.

From our own self-destruction
You gave us our salvation
I want to know you
I will seek you
Lord I want you to know my new goal
Is to love you with all my mind, all my heart and all my soul
