In My Hands

by Lady Nik   Oct 6, 2006

In my hands I hold your life and mine too. You can look at me, but I can't stand the sight of you. You told me to listen to my heart as it beats. I told you to look in the mirror, and tell me what you see.

In my hands I hold the blood you cried yesterday. So scarred, because I made you feel this way. I write these words, because they are the truth not lies. Sorry if it makes you cry, but this is my last goodbye.

In my hands I hold the key to stop all of the evils in our life. But you say open my eyes. I do and death is the only thing I find. Now I see I hold life in my hands. Help me out, because I still don't understand.

Amazing job. Such a great poem. I thought that it was very unique and that's always what I look for in poems, it makes them so much better. Great work on this. Keep it up.

This is twisted, unique, sad and dark, four elements that make a really great storyline (in my mind).

Awesome. This is really great. It's the kind of thing I love to read.
