My heart hurts...
not this vessel behind my ribs.
Far beyond that my soul aches
for a reason, a remnant for me
to helplessly cling onto.

Desperation has led me here.
This place so dark, the light
inside me refuses to shine.
Frozen, I remain paralyzed beneath
this pain mirroring my life.

as I shuffle through our
memories where everything
was new and pristine. Now
decay follows me as I try to
remember your loving face.

just broken shadows
