Feast

by Chris W.   Oct 7, 2006

With yellow eyes he chases you,
Your two legs are no match.
The sun is set the moon is full,
Tonight you will be his catch.

Maybe you should just play dead,
But unfortunately this is no bear.
He’s on top of you in a second,
All his teeth, muscle, and hair.

You kick and scream trying to run,
But to him it makes it more fun.
His sharp teeth go for your throat,
Pretty soon your screams will end.

You’re running out of energy,
You can’t fight much longer.
He bites down deep in your neck,
Your blood makes him stronger.

Now you lie there still and quiet,
Your blood covers his fury face,
His feast has now just begun,
As your soul flees from this place.
