Delusional

by ALEX   Oct 8, 2006

Right now when I'm feeling so powerless,
All I seem to cause is pain, I confess:
A better boy you'll never meet,
And my friend, he thinks I'm sweet.
But inside, I know he's wrong.
You see, I've known him for so long.
I know quite well, he's not for me,
Me and my seas of tragedy.
Of course, something has him convinced
My heart has not gone amiss,
And I'm a kind and caring soul.
He sees a light through all the coal.
Delusional, to me, he seems.
I tear apart his foolish dreams.
In truth I think he only sees
The part of me he thinks he needs.
Scares me with talk of suicide..
Trick or Treat! Here, have some cyanide.
