SHE

by Kacie Allen   Oct 9, 2006

She lays there so still, so fragile, so weak.
Shes coming down again, so just wants to sleep.
She is a skeleton that's loosely covered in skin.
And she's trying so hard to not let us in.
Her eyes are all sunken, the sparkle has gone.
She see's nothing is right, just everything wrong.
She is scared to stop, but seems to be trying.
She tries to give up, but just ends up crying.
She wants to get help, but needs to feel ease.
She wants to get out, but ends up on her knees.
She gets lost in her world, her world full of doom.
And she hides her pain as she hides in her room.
Recharging, so once again she can go.
Where you may ask? but we never know.
Not until she calls or finally comes back.
A shadow again, eyes swollen and black.
We need her so much, but she just doesnt see.
She's worth so much, but gives it for free.
If I could I would just take her away.
Make her get out so we know she's o.k.
But we can't make her, we have to let her go.
And it hurts us so much, but she'll never know.
She has to fall, has to hit the floor.
Before she lets us get through her door.
And so we sit, we wait and we hope.
My parents find it so hard to cope.
But they pray that one day she'll wake up and see.
And then from the shadows she'll finally be free.
And out with emerge our beautiful girl.
Our Diamond, our ruby, or crystal our pearl.
