Silent girl

by mimzy   Oct 9, 2006

Silent girl, in the dark
Don't cry, I was there
I saw how he beat you up
How he threw on you that chair

Silent girl, bleeding still
You're not alone
When he put his hands on you last night
I saw your body turn into stone

Little girl, please don't scream
He'll hear you and come in
This could be your last night
Once that knife hits your skin

Little girl, watch out
He's hiding behind that door
I watch how you start to cry
As you're pinned down to the floor

This is a very sad poem. You painted such a very sad picture with your words and I'm sure that is the affect that you were trying to make. I really enjoyed reading this poem. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words and yours has said it all. Keep up the excellent work. 5/5
