Story of a broken heart

Heres a story
i'd like to tell
of a broken heart
and how it fell

once apon a time
there was a girl
who hid herself
from all the world

some how she
was always sad
thinking of the life
she could have had

but then one day
prince charming came
he brought her in
from all the rain

tears stoped falling
happiness was real
slowly her heart
began to heal

no more glued on smiles
no more faking happiness
for when she talked to him
her heart filled with bliss

he told her that he liked her
she made him real happy
but what was about to come
she could not see

he said that he was sorry
since she was his best friends EX
them being together
just wasnt the best

she sat there for an hr.
trying to change his mind
but since she was getting nowhere
she decided not to waste time

she wished him the best in life
and apoligized one last time
told him she ment everything she said
and then said her goodbye

things will go back to normal
she'll hide herself again
show the world a fake smile
all her happiness will be pretend
