My last goodbye...

by Shruti Mittal   Oct 11, 2006

Death is not of what I am afraid,
for it can never be delayed.
let it come,
and let me take my last breath,
I will be smiling after my death.

Lying on my death bed,
the last word which I said
tear less, when of my death all hears
there are worse plagues on earth than tears.

The dying soul is lying here
the freedom to my life denied,
all I want to see is
smiles all sitting by my side.

I can live once I am dead
with all bright colors, blue and red
the only fear creeping inside
there isn\'t anything to hide
my soul after death will have
all what my life could not find.

The doctors all cannot help me to live,
god has given me what he had to give.
stop them even to make a try,
help these poor not to lie.

Peace and Pride all around,
everywhere I wanted to spread,
not to worry, he made a promise
it will be there once I am dead.

The silence killing the air,
harsh will be the very minute,
accept the truth, nothing there to lie
see out from the window
my soul is about to meet the sky
let me wave and bid my last goodbye.
