Freedom

by ~!~ Amanda Kay ~!~   Oct 14, 2006

So I go to a Bible college and I wrote this poem in my Bible Lit class....

As I write on the wall
in my soft crimson blood
Its meant to be read by the ones
who fear what I love.
My tears are shed into a
salty bath, as I fall asleep
into the moments of eternity
to prove something to those who fear my pain.
Soon they will see me as
never before. They realize
what they have done, but
they still don't understand.
They see the crimson bath I'm in.
Their shock will soon set in.
They see the scars on my blood shed wrists,
and the razor in my hand.
Their questions fly and my lifeless images
flood their heads. They cannot believe
that their friend has done this and is dead.
See me now, I am free
to be whatever it is that I can be.
