Growing up

As little girls change
from Barbie's to make up
from innocent to rebellious
they don't realize what
makes their heart change.
they conform to the
world around them being
all that the world wants
them to be. No longer
daddy's little angel but
now a parent's worst nightmare.
The clothing they wear,
the friends they are with
determine what makes them
who they are and who they want
to be. Parents beware, one day
you will have a rebellious teenager
