LIFE?

When I look deep down inside of me,
i see the shattered pieces that are left ,
shattered into a thousand pieces my heart barely beats.

surrounded by life and yet i don't live,
I can't for fear of what my future may hold,
for many people all they want is to grow old gracefully,
but not me,
No i do not wish to remain here like this,
I simply seek the wonders of a better place,

Somewhere I can lay my head,
somewhere I can rid myself of this eternal emptiness,
somewhere safe for me to learn how to love, how to trust and how to live, all over again.

I want to be re-born,
I don't want to simply exist, mourning a life I once lived,
I DO NOT WANT THIS.
