Voices and Whispers

by Robiie   Oct 16, 2006

Everyday the fatigue grows,
Each hour is just another 60 minutes of agony,
Wanting to fall asleep,
Into a dream and never wake until the pain has subsided,
A continuous nightmare controls her awaken state,
She is under the manipulation of voices,
Whispers telling her she is wrong...
Dirty...
Worthless...
Undeserving...
These voices tell her that the harm is for her own good,
It will make everything better,
It tells her she must,
It tells her she has no choice,
It is inevitable,
A permanent stain upon her wrist,
Blood crawling down her thigh,
Sins climbing her throat,
Her body cries for it all to stop,
Her mind cries for a truce,
She is too tired to resist the voices and whispers,
She slowly lets them flood back in,
All she built up has broken down,
All the moths...
Tears...
Poems...
She passed to get to a girl who could fight,
Was for nothing,
She is still the same girl only with new sins,
She cant live life on her own,
The voices told her that from the start but she would not listen,
She stupidly thought he was stronger,
But once again her thoughts and her were wrong,
She knows now she needs a substance to save her,
Little green pills keep her alive,
Never again will she try and break free from the voices and whispers,
For they are the only ones who have kept their promises...
