I can show you it's no textbook romance

Then we can truly become combined

Show me the way to the inside of your world

Give me a kiss and hold onto me tight
You may think it's wrong, but baby, it's so right

Hold my hand and smile down at my head
I promise I will never forget what you have said

Boy, if you just give me one chance
I can prove that this is not a textbook romance

    Your 'name' could almost be part of this poem, lol.

    I love this line:

    I can prove that this is not a textbook romance

    All in all, this poem is pretty good. It's a bit wordy, but the meaning is strong. Nice work-- 5/5.
