Is It My Fault?

Why won't you notice me?
Even a simple hey,
A tiny smile,
Would be enough to keep me content.
But I'm not satisfied with you,
Walking by me,
Are you really that shy?
Or do you really find me that unappealing,
That you just keep walking, right on by?

But then again,
Am I really all that much better?
Sure, I smile at you...
But I'm too nervous to speak to you,
That really is the honest to God truth!
Oh, don't think I'm not interested,
You're the world to me,
Just try to open your green-grey eyes,
Try to open them and see.

Maybe it's all my fault,
That we barely even talk.
Maybe I shouldn't blame you,
I should probably be blaming myself,
But whenever you smile at me,
I just cant help but melt...

    Heya, i loved this poem. it reminded me of this guy i like at skewl, he is so gorgeous, and we used to be pretty close friends,but at skewl, he is a totally diff guy, but i still love him. Good job, keep up the good work!

    then it just hit me
    *WHAMO*
    about what this poem was about....
    then i sat there thinking about how cute it is,
    and how amazing your struggle is,
    because
    finally,
    there is someone out there,
    who is sitting
    in the same boat as i...
    because you love this guy,
    and i love that one,
    but while both guys are totally different,
    our situation is exactly the same,
    we love the unobtainable (Sp??)
    and even though we can never get it,
    there is nothing that can stop us
    from trying.
    two best friends,
    in one boat...
    the same boat....
    might be fun,
    but this struggle is anything but.
    i am bored of having to wait.
    this boat is so boring...
    so at least can we paint it...
    a different color????
    *preferably with paintastic pens... tehe*
