Dancing With You In The Snow

by Suri dawn   Oct 20, 2006

I'm twirling in my gown,
dancing with you in the snow.
It's landing on us,on our lashes.
It's melting our troubles,I know.

We're above the sea.
On our own mountain.
With warmth by the fire.
And our bubble-bath fountain.

This mountain,with our castle,
is what we have climbed.
We climbed from our troubles.
We met just in time.

We climbed this mountain,
in snow,sun,and rain.
We broke the rope accidentally.
But we caught each other again.

You helped me through hard times.
Took my hand as I fell.
We climbed to our heaven.
We climbed up from a well.

We met in clouded darkness.
I stood,afraid,in the dark.
Then you began to glow.
You are my light,my spark.

You lit a fire in my soul,
because it was broken and torn.
You cradled my soul in your arms.
You helped me to be reborn.

Now we have accomplished it.
I can sing and dance in your light.
We climbed to our dreams.
We climbed all through the night.

I can feel your warmth.
I see the light in your eyes.
You glow like midnight stars.
Like a newborn given life.

We are all dressed in gowns.
Dancing by the palace.
Dancing in the snow,
with it falling on our lashes.

I twirl on our new deck.
I have my wish,I have my dream.
I see you're happy.
You smile and your eyes gleam.

You are my queen.
My light in the storm.
You are my camp-mom.
You fixed me when I was torn.

So I'm twirling in my gown.
Dancing with you in the snow,
it's landing on us,on our lashes.
We dance to the sky,I know.
