Lessons Of Today

Today I learned,
never to leave your child alone.
And never to ignore,
the sound of her cries and moans.

Today I learned,
life is not full of opened doors.
The doors are all locked.
We just fall through the floor.

Today I learned,
the most loving words are"I love you".
But they can be fake,
and break your heart in two.

Today I learned,
broken hearts will always be broken,
even when,
there's good words spoken.

Today I learned,
all good things will come to an end.
And broken relationships,
are very difficult to mend.

Today I learned,
a smile takes more muscle than a frown.
But smiles are fake,
and only bring you down.

Today I learned,
people are hard to get to know.
So don't even bother.
Their real thoughts never show.

Today I learned,
even when they forgive your mistakes,
it doesn't ever mean,
your life will remake.

Today I learned,
people say they will be with you forever.
But they only lie and leave you.
And it's you they won't remember.

Today I learned,
some people dream,and some wish to fly.
But dreams don't come true,
the whole "wishing star" is a lie.

Today I learned,
not to bother with hope.
It doesn't save your life,
and it doesn't help you cope.

Today I learned,
many things about love and life.
I learned,things that seem great,
leave you ending your life.
