AN ANGEL FALLING

by Reborn Rival   Oct 20, 2006

With the soil approaching fast and all hopes astray
Extend your wings and take a chance she did say
The pace slowed and so my fears
She calmed me and dried my tears

Open your eyes to see what is real
Now close them again and what do you feel
i am floating I said, but how can this be?
Inside it is different from what is said to be

Ill take you back up and drop you again
But this time Im gone it wont be the same
You must learn to fly without my wings
Believe inside and choose what life brings

Already in my mind the choice was made
Ill stand once again and drop my spade
In my own mind an angel
I will not fall today

This was a well written poem. Very short though, I'd like to see it a little longer. The flow and the structure was good. Very motivational peice of work. Good job!!!
