In the Beginning

If this ol' earth could talk.
What do you think it would say?
It would say, "In the Beginning,
God created me on the first day!"

If these oceans could talk.
What do you think they would say?
They would say, "In the Beginning,
God created us on the second day!"

If the land and plants could talk.
What do you think they would say?
They would say, "In the Beginning,
God created us on the third day!"

If the sun, moon, and stars could talk.
What do you think they would say?
They would say, "In the Beginning,
God created us on the fourth day!"

If the sea and flying creatures could talk.
What do you think they would say?
They would say, "In the Beginning,
God created us on the fifth day!"

If the creatures of the land could talk.
What do you think they would say?
They would say, "In the Beginning,
God created us on the sixth day!"

What of man? Will he confess?
What do you think he would say?
Would he even consider, "In the Beginning,
God created him on the sixth day?"
