Shadows

by somehow broken   Oct 21, 2006

She remains a shadow of what she was,
No energy to continue.

Her pain engraved in her wrists,
While the memories remain.

Silent screams to no one,
Echo through her head.

No one to save her,
Not this time.

Time ticks away,
She's left to fix the mess up.

Her body aches.

Guilt overwhelms her,
Slowly drowning her in pain.

Making it harder to breathe,
She whimpers.

Her body shutting down,
She's left with nothing.
