My Tears Of Rain

by Suri dawn   Oct 21, 2006

Fresh streams flow,
with all our thoughts.
And dancing in the rain,
was all we were taught.

Without the rain,
I cannot dance.
I can't let loose.
I'm in a trance.

I can't see in the dark,
or fly in the night.
I've slipped in the rain.
The candle lost light.

My light went out.
My heart turned cold.
Life lost its fire.
My young turned old.

The sun came up.
It dried up the rain.
I cannot dance,
therefore,no life gained.

Welcome death,
consume me now.
An oceans' deep.
A raindrops' vow.

I don't deserve happiness.
I don't deserve love.
There is no more peace.
Someone shot the dove.

We all hate people.
We all hate ourselves.
Because we keep things inside,
we're china dolls upon shelves.

Without somewhere,
our feelings can go.
Without a way,
our thoughts can show.

We all lose life,
curled up inside.
We lose ourselves,
not realizing we've died.

I'm drowning today,
in the deepest sea.
Without the rain to cry in,
people can see me...
...cry.
