Wrong To Be Me

by Suri dawn   Oct 21, 2006

Why do you change the words,
that come out of holy lips,
Into the words of the dead,
and then sealed with a sinful kiss?

Why do you want me to believe,
all the lies you have told?
Telling me,"It's no sin".
But I can choose;your lies get old.

Why is it wrong to be me,
and right to be who you are?
We may both be judging,
but face the facts. I'm right so far.

Why do you say,"We can't change our fate."?
But really,we should;and can.
Just 'cause you say you didn't choose who you are,
it's not us who should be banned.

Why do I wish, you could change your mind,
and change who you really are?
I may be selfish, but even you know.
When we grow,we grow apart.

Why do I want you by my side,
and to never go away?
'Cause you have never been there.
You are even gone today.

So,maybe if I leave forever,
then you will really know.
You could have changed my fate.
I'm in heaven. So,apart,we won't grow.
