Daughter To Mother.

by BeautifulxMess   Oct 22, 2006

She twirled around in her
ballet shoes. Her mother
said "Come, my dear,
there's not time to loose."

She put on some glitter,
make-up, and a little dress.
Pulled her hair back in a bun,
and was ready to impress.

She got on the stage,
and she took a bow.
Her mother looked at her,
and couldn't believe how.

10 years ago she was so small,
and those blue eyes shined.
At two she was walking,
and making mud pies.

5 years old she started school,
and she loved that Barbie box.
7 years she smiled so big,
and had bright blond locks.

Now her baby's not a child,
but she's still strong.
She cries, and disobeys,
but she'll always loves her mom.

Today her baby's big day,
and she all dressed in white.
Her mother's face's full of tears,
but she cannot help but cry.

This is the same girl she
raised all these years.
Soon she'll be someone else's,
and will have to fight her fears.

After the wedding, she
talked to her mom.
Hours went by, and
they cried all along.

"Mother, I love you.
You're my life.
When things go out place,
I'll count on you to stay
by my side."

Five years gone by,
and her mothers past away.
Even though it hurts,
by grave she prays.

She prays that she'll
be the mother she had.
She wants to raise her child,
and give it all her mother had.
