Rose Garden

by Lady Nik   Oct 23, 2006

Beautiful and strong. Red and so bold. I was once that soul. I'm that rose all alone. I want to be like the other roses, and they all know it. Brave but I can't show it. I'm so dull, I'm not noticed. I wish someone would show me some sunlight so that I can grow to be the best. Help me act like the rest. Promise me, I'll be the rose you won't forget. Locked up here, I won't pretend. Here in this garden, with myself as my friend. I'm depressed within. My mirror has broken, along with my heart. Close the door and let me fall into the dark. It might calm me, but whose to say. Since then I've never been the same. Don't you notice a change. Beautiful and strong. Red and oh so bold. I was once that soul. Now I'm that dead rose.
