As I lay dying

by dancingskeletons   Oct 25, 2006

As I lay here crying,
deep inside my soul is dying.
There is a knife on the table,
but I don't think I'm able
to go deep enough,
there is just too much stuff.
I can't ignore, I want more.
More bruises and more cuts,
some people think I'm going nuts
So, I drag the knife across my skin
and I pray that I will win.
And now as I lay here crying,
I know that my heart and soul are dying.
