Trophy love

by Alesia   Oct 26, 2006

I don't wanna be your trophy,
All I want was for you to love me,
Was that so much to ask?
That you left my heart smashed.

I just asked for you to hold me,
But you had to go and throw me.
Was it so bad to give you my heart?
That you had to go and hurt me.

Love was all I seek but,
You didn't dare peek.
Now my heart leaks,
From the hole you left me.

Tried to let it mend but,
It just became condemned.
I thought you were my friend?
Maybe something more.

But It seems to look like even feel like
I was nothing more,
than your pitiful trophy
When all I really wanted was for you to love me.
