My Grey World

Soft grey rain
Silently caressing
Cold white skin
I don't understand
Why this rain
Falls on my world
Forever cascading
Always falling
Driving me insane

Does anyone feel but me?
This never ceasing numbness
Does anyone care to see?
My grey world

Heavy bleak clouds
Cast shadows
over my world
I don't understand
Why this rain
Falls on my world
Forever cascading
Always falling
It causes me so much pain

Who cried these tears?
Am I really deserving
Of this constant sorrow
Smothering my world

Wash away my past
Cleanse and restore
The hope I once had
Then cease,
Let colour flood my vision
Help me to understand
There are wonders beyond
The bleak monotony
My grey world.

    I love how you keep a straight line trough this one,.. as rain,.. and i love "colour flood my vision"..
