The song I sing

by jason   Oct 28, 2006

The song I sing
will not be remembered
for the death it brings

instead it shall be forgotten
over time
as I reach where I finally
lie and die.

All the things I do
shall disappear
not even one tear

for what I write,
in this life,
there is no light.

With that said
I will gladly go
without a fight.

Take me away
free my soul
I do not want to deal with this anymore.

What is the point
of being here
if everything we do
won't be seen in a year.

what is the point
of standing here
when the footprints we leave
soon wont be there.
what is the point
of writing this
if in time it will be
considered a piece of shit.

does any thing really matter,
won't it all fall,
just shatter like a glass cup
thrown against the wall.

does no one even care
if it makes a sound.

What is the point of living
if no one is around.
