I\'m falling Into My Mind Forever

by Moose   Oct 29, 2006

Broken hearts lay shattered in the mud,
As war horses carrying the dead pass by.
Never to feel love again, gone lay the heroes,
Streaked with tears of the sun they look to the sky.

Carried on the winds of justice rides a dove,
Ghosts follow in his wake, on there way to freedom,
Feeling only pain, but soon to forget of love
Christ falls from heaven to carry them home.

Shadows remain to torture whatâ??s left behind
The trees still grow and the flags still fly
Empty souls are all thatâ??s left in the wake of a war
Pain is broken into a detached deaf cry

Soft water falls though me, and from my eyes
Tracing lines and flowing over scars
Every one a flower that grows and then dies
Trapped in a desolate state of mind I wander

Caged, scared and abandoned in a world of lies
Seeking a glint of hope among the pain
Sickness creeps around my heart turning it to stone
Every cloud brings tears just like rain.

So tired of fighting for air, needing to feel
In a world full of death why do I still suffer alone?
Iâ??m in to much pain for my scars to heal
I canâ??t keep myself standing, when no one is there

I try to live breath by minute, hours upon days
The weight of the future is resting in my hands
Iâ??m falling into darkness, searching for the suns ray
Iâ??m falling into my mind foreverâ?¦
