Growing up

You're growing up way too fast.
Being a kid doesn't ever last.
You are going to college and becoming a man.
You need to stop playing around and make a plan.

You will come to see as you get older.
The little things in life will only make you bolder.
Things get hard and you might have to struggle.
Just think of it as balls that you have to juggle.

You will eventually get married and be happy as ever.
Hopefully you will get a woman who will keep you forever.
You will come to see you can't depend on anyone but you.
But I promise that you will make it through.

So on your birthday remember this.
You being a kid I will always miss.
You have become a great guy through the years.
But as you leave I will try to hold back my tears.
