Chewed Gum

by aDORKable x3   Nov 1, 2006

Staring up at you
you just pass on by
You would never ever know
That the chewed gum cried

It cries for the mouth
That has spit it out
It wonders, quite sadly,
What's this all about?

It was beautiful once
All wrapped up real pretty
But someone chewed him up
And spit him out in the city

He sat on the sidewalk
In the balzing hot sun
No longer enjoying life
No longer having fun

But he still feels beautiful
When he looks up at you
He knows he'll be okay
That much is true

I'm never going to look at a piece of chewed gum the same way again. lol. That was really cute, it made me feel bad somehow for the gum. Which is just weird, but it's interesting how you were able to do that. Nice job.
