Sleepless

Another sleepless night
I'm afraid to go to sleep
Thinking of the times that past
When you did love me

Those times were full of joy
Of laughter in the dark
We were both so happy
We thought that it would last

We used to be as one
Never did we fight
Lady luck was with us
Why'd she leave our side?!

Now every time i see you
A tear swells in my heart
I know I can not have you
I'm lost now in the dark

You said I'd never lose you
I guess you couldn't see
The day you walked away
You left a hole in me

Again I'll say I love you
You know thats not a lie
Broken into pieces
In this grave I lie.

    Now this one made my eyes actually water, its just cause I feel really down and poems like this remind me more and more of my ex. Another great poem.
