Silent question

Your big eyes are watching me,
But no words are reaching my ears,
A silent question, you're asking me,
The one, of my many fears.

Will you be mine?
My fear, am I ready?
Always saying It's fine,
But you're hurt when I say no to steady.

Am I ready to be with you?
You're always with me,
The one I can turn to,
When I need someone to see.

A question, to think about would be,
Am I ready to see,
You as my lover instead of just a friend.
