Seeking Perfection

by Chrissy   Nov 2, 2006

Beauty Behold,
Her Secrets Unfold.
Cries Hidden Beneath Her Smile,
Pleads It's Only For A Short While.
Reaching For Her Place,
A Place, Unable To Trace.
Sweet Innocence All Alone,
Trying To Be Strong,
But She's On Her Own.
Lost Soul, Lost Pride.
No Will To Confide,
No Will To Survive.
This Life She Suffers,
A Disgrace To Others.
Crazed For Perfection
No Cure
No Such Correction.

** I wrote this poem when i struggled with anerexia and bulimia. I learned a plethora of things through these times. I learned that you don't need to be perfect to be accepted. **
