Ironic Dreams

by Idiosyncratic   Mar 19, 2004

Dreaming I have never seen
Anything beyond a dream
Nothing's really as it seems
You'll never know what it really means

The impossible trail is passable
The hardest to do understandable
The truest of lies acceptable
The rudest of friends adaptable

The ugliest birds still sweetly sing
No matter what has everything
Who knows what happiness can bring
No word will know its meaning

Bad feelings may be rare
Some people cannot bare
The mysteries lie there
What is and isn't fair

Some things weren't meant to be
Look closer and you'll see
Nobody knows you or me
Nobody realizes he or she

No thought for the brave
Until the last good-bye wave
The wonder that you crave
The thought no less you gave

These words your greatest blunder
The truth lies neatly under
Nothing could ever wonder
Worldly rounds of thunder

Having noone a mistake
Nobody should have to make
Happiness may awake
Your feelings take a break

Never until you know
Your words will surely grow
Its meaningful though
Should it be high or low

Wether worst or best
No hope will ever rest
A dream always a quest
Not knowing is a test
