I want the turth, even if it hurts

by disenchanted   Nov 7, 2006

Look into to mirror
And face what you see
Don't close your eyes
And think you'll be rid of me

Don't think you can push me down
Or make me go away
You smile all the smiles you want
But I am here to stay

I know who you really are
And what you pretend to be
You can lie to everyone else
But you can't keep the truth from me

I will always be here
I'll never leave you alone
I'll make you cry and I'll make you remember
You can't set your heart in stone

You'll have to face me someday
You can't keep running away
You have to face your fears
Your demons you need to slay

I know it's tough and hard
To go what you're going through
But you've got to stick it out
You can't give in and lose

So look into the mirror
And face what you see
Don't close your eyes
And think you'll be rid of me

*The rhyming sucks but this is me right now*
