Beauty and Beast

by Cooper   Nov 8, 2006

Through the mists
through the woods,
with red suns I have stood.
Dancing with shadows atop pires,
and bathing in hot dragon fires,
I summoned a silver infestation for my tears,
screaming names dormant for thousands of years.

With a mask of the daemon princes,
spawned from the darkness
a parade of lustful fairies crave.
Unto my castle incubi will engrave,
A name for those with fingers
for dining on crystalline eyes,
Of beauty that nowhere lingers.

She be the Beauty,
And I claim the Beast,
A fancy though unpleasant feast.
Swear by the moon,
or swear by the sun,
At the high of tempest June,
a curse even mystic lips will never shun.
