Black.

by cassie   Nov 8, 2006

Swelling tears,
haunted dreams,
black loneliness
for all eternity...

Rain dropping from the window,
the full moon out so bright,
as always
blacks the only thing in sight.

The color of my heart,
the color of my face,
the color of my eyes,
so cold and empty.

A hollow tree with nothing inside,
nothing but unwanted echoes,
and faded dreams.

The tree is burnt,
colorless and lifeless,
all is just
cold black ashes

The tears weep down her face,
as she lies alone in bed,
dreaming and fearing,
the reality of her empty black world.
