Survival

by Void   Nov 8, 2006

One day I'll see not with my eyes, but yours
And my scent will be seeped through your clothes
My body is trapped, free never more
But my soul's in your pocket, still betrothed
Your shadow may weep, and look for mine too
Perhaps your shaken hand remains empty
My heart doesn't beat when I'm not with you
'Cause echoes of yours, sings my melody
Writing this letter from beyond my stone
Praying to relieve you of pain a while
I whisper these words, and tell you I'm home
I am surviving within your smile
My love, do not fear, just keep going strong
Beside you always, is where I belong.

Awe! This was really cute! There may be a few minor punctuations errors, but this poem made me feel warm inside because of it's amazing cuteness! I'm always open to reading love poems.
