Drinking and Driving

Squealing tires, shattering glass
Mangled metal; Broken Fiberglass
Screeching screams; broken tears
All that was left were untold fears

Hit the corner going ninety-five
Sammy's life they could notâ??t revive
To her parents, it was their nightmare
To her boyfriend it wwasnt??t fair

Thunder roaring through the clouds
Mourners standing over a once proud girl
Family and friends trying to be brave
While looking at Sammyâ??s marble grave

By the door, he paused to stand
As he put his ring, on her hand
Those that were watching didwasn'tt speak
As streams of silent tears ran down his cheek

Just then, the wind began to blow
As they lowered Sammyâ??s casket into the snowâ?¦
