Reflection #2

by AloneInMySarrows   Nov 12, 2006

I stand in front of my bathroom mirror,
What stares back Scares me.
I am broken,
Cant anybody see?
*
My face has cracked,
Where they once was a smile
Has been replaced by a frown
*
My eyes are blank,
Where there once was a sparkle,
Has been replaced by a haze.
*
My skin is rough,
Where there once was a healthy glow,
Has been replaced by pasty white.
*
I stand in front of my full-length mirror,
What stares back scares me!
I am broken,
Cant anybody see?
*
I look like a bum,
Where there once where fashionable clothes,
Have been replced with a dirty nightgown.
*
My heart has shattered,
Where there once was a big, loving heart,
Has been replaced by a million little pieces.
*
My waist is thick,
Where there once was a waist line,
Has been replced by a tire!
*
I am broken,
Can\'t anybody see?
I pray for an angel,
To come and fix me!
