My Black Shadow

by redangel   Nov 12, 2006

Walking into the cold chamber
Taking off the mask
I wear for every1 but me
I see a black coffin
Inside a pearl white sheet
Inviting me inside to lay
Step by step
Closer n closer
I feel an ice cold breeze
Over powering my mind
I clime in slowly without any thought
I start covering my could body
I lay straight up looking
Toured the darkness of my soul
I see a black shadow getting close
My mind says move
My heart says stay
As it gets closer
Cold wind curses my face
The black shadow becomes a blanket
Ready to keep me worm
To take away the pain
Only leaves an ice cold body behind
My mind races trying to get away
Final it comes to slowly stop
Over cone by the black shadow inside my soul
It’s inside looking for a bigger pray
A bloody tearing heart
Beating slowly
Knowing the end is near and the pain will soon go
The red heart sees the shadow move with no fear
As the black shadow slowly covers
The bloody tearing heart
A true smile form in my image
Now comes true happiness
The cold numbs the body that stays behind
I no longer feel pain
With the black shadow inside
